Kate Gerwin is the owner (Mama Bear as she calls herself) of Happy Accidents Bar in Albuquerque, New Mexico, established in 2020. The bar has been recognized multiple times winning the Albuquerque Journal Readers Choice award and the Best New US Bar. Not to mention Kate made it to the grand finale of Netflix’s, Drink Masters, as the second runner-up.
She is an industry leader in innovating the way the spirits industry operates, winning the Tales of the Cocktail Dame Hall of Fame and pushing to make this industry more equitable and sustainable. We’re excited to have her at this year’s inaugural Sauced! event as one of our featured bartenders.
